LIKE "THE REAL THING"
Fibre coins, produced bv the Royal Mint in Pretoria, South Africa, for educational purposes, are so realistic that they have been passed off as genuine in shops and even in banks. Some specimens of half-crowns and pennies made of fibre were retained by the. pupils of a school where they had been used during a lesson. Several hoys and girls wore caught trying to pass the coins in shops.
