HAMILTON FACILITIES [from our own cohrkspoxuent] HAMILTON", Friday A decision to set up a committee in inquire into existing sports facilities in Hnmilton was made at a mooting of tho Physical Welfare and Hccmitional Committor. The Mayor, Mr. H. D. C'aro, presided. The object of the meeting was to discuss tho organisation "f a federation <>t sports bodies within the district, which would advise constituent bodies on matters of common interest and assist to co-ordinate the arrangements of sports grounds. ... . It was stated that tho physical welfare committee was attempting to find out <o what extent existing sports facilities were being used and to what degree membership could be increased without extending the facilities. The committee was also concerned with evolving a scheme for the interchange of mcinbership, as it was felt that club fees were so high that in many' cases sportsmen wore unable to enjoy more than one winter or summer sport. The committee will consist of IV. w. n. f ra, Dr. S. dn la .Mare and Mr. W. Frascr. Tho secretary is Mr. .1. H. Lcdgerwood.
