Kndcaii presided. Ihe (ollowiug committee was formed: —President, Mrs. Kndean; vice-presidents, Mesdames I'rosser, Ranfnrly Smith, J• Sullivan and N. Chapman; secretary, airs. C. Stevenson: committee, Mesdainas P Winstone, D. Donaldson. L. I . Spencer, A. 'B. Proud, P. M. Page, A. Spence, F. G. Farrell, Misses .Joyce McCartney, Betty Coe, I 4 ay Alexander and Alison Leary. ' An address on the history of the Red Cross and its present work was given by Mr. Ira J. Bridgcr, directorgeneral for New Madame Mil burn gave n demonstration of the use of the gas respirator.
