SPORTS RALLY
GERMAN STORM TROOPS SINISTER INTERPRETATION LONDON, Juno .20 Foreign observers believe that the recent Nazi "sports rally," which 6000 Gorman Storm Troopers attended, was a rehearsal for an invasion of Danzig, says the Danzig correspondent of the Daily Telegraph. "Such an invasion," life adds, "would be difficult, because the Vistula is not bridged on Danzig soil. Motorised units and fully-armed Storm Troopers- were, therefore, carried by ferry at the weekend. "The times taken in transit were carefully noted. Many Storm Troopers wore also transported by sea."
