B GRADE CHAMPIONSHIP The Auckland amateur B grade billiards championship "as continued last evening at the showrooms of Messrs. Billiards, Limited. F. G. Forrest played W. Thwaite in the first panic, the former winning after an even encounter. The scoring fluctuated up to the 200-niark, where Forrest, improved his position, arid, hnvitipr slightly the bettor of the play, continued to win by 'IT points. E. C. Sutt-on met J. Proctor in the second frame, the former being successful. Sutton scored consistently in the early stages and established a useful lead nt. the first 100mark. Both made runs over the 20-mark, Proctor being very accurate with winning hazards. Sutton played steadily in the final stages of the game to maintain his advantage. The semi-finals will bo played to-night. F. (J. Forrest will piny W. J. Crnies nt 7 o'clock, and at, S..'!o o'clock P. Heale.v will meet 10. C. Sutton.
