WAGGONS DERAILED

SHUNTING ACCIDENT HORSES ESCAPE INJURY SERVICE NOT. INTERRUPTED [BT TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION*] HASTINGS, Friday Four waggons in a goods train were derailed at the Hatuma station, four miles south of Waipukurau, this afternoon, during shunting operations. The train was backing and struck the waggons with a heavy impact, throwing three stock waggons down a bunk. Two trucks, which weie empty, were considerably damaged, A third, containing horses, although turned on its side, escaped damage and the horses were* not injured. The track was not seriously torn up and .the service was able to proceed.
