The Danzig secret police arrested Jan Lipinski, a Polish Customs inspector, who left his home on Friday and did not return. Chodacki, Polish Commissioner for Danzig, has protested to the Senate over the kidnapping and beating by the Nazis of Lipinski, who is alleged to have been taken from a cafe, forced into a motorcar, driven to the outskirts of the town and left unconscious on the roadside. An unknown person telephoned to the police advising them where to find a Polish spy.
