THE LEAGUE CODE
MEETING OF REFEREES STATE OF FOWLDS PARK Objection was raised at the meeting of tho Auckland Rugby Leazue Referees' Association last evening to a suggestion that referees would have to record injuries to players, or injured players' names, on team caids.
The -secretary, Mr. T. Skinner, said it was a matter for the clubs concerned in the insurance scheme. The chairman, Mr. L. E. Bull, said referees were not bound to do so. It was a question of co-operating with the controlling bodies as far as possible. Complaint was made of the dangerous condition of Fowld.f Park, and the senior delegato was asked to draw the attention of the control board, with a request for represcntation of the matter to the Mount Albert Borough Council. A ruling was giveu that the referee must have team cards with names of players before a game starts. The Schoo'boys Association acknowledged a donation to its special fund. Mr. H. Rae was admitted as a member.
