CONVENT EXTENSION
CONTRACT FOR NEW BLOCK' BUILDING AT HAMILTON . [FROM OT7B OWN CORRESPONDENT] s HAMILTON. Sunday A contract has "been let for approximately £12,000 for the construction of a now central b'ock in connection vritli St. Mary's Convent, Hamilton East. A chapel was" built a few years ago, and a wing of the convent was completed last year. The new block will take the_ place of an old wooden building which. was demolished some months ago. It is expected that it will be completed by tiw end of the year. The architects are Messrs. D. D. Patterson and Companv, Auckland, the contractor is ilr- l - Clements, of Otahiiliu. -■<
