It is evident, said a message from Paris on May 15, that the Spanish Government wants money for reconstruction, and equally, that French financial interests, which have loiig had a big stake in Spain, want to participate, but the French Government will not allow loans to Spain until Spanish independence is assure;}. lleports from tho Continent suggested that, not only French, but Belgian, Dutch, English and Swiss banks wero interested.
ARMY IN SPAIN FURTHER DEMOBILISATION (Received May 28, 5.5 p.m.) LONDON, May 27 General Franco has ordored the demobilisation of an additional 50,000 men,' making 250,000 demobilised since the end of the civil war.
