MEET AT MANGERE LADY GALWAY PRESENT GOOD SPORT EXPERIENCED Included in the large following nt the meet of the Pakurnnga Hunt nt Mangere Pound on Saturday were Lady Galwav and her four children. The Hon. Simon Moncktou-Arundell and the Hon. Isabel Monekton followed the I hunt on foot, as did -Mr. A. G. Quartley, the field secretary. The hounds threw off on .Mr. Keith Anderson's farm and then worked through Mr. Frank Bull's property, I where a hare was put up, and it ran straight for the swamp. Here it circled several time.?, and other hares wego put up, one going away in tho direction of Westney Koad before turning and coining back to the swamp. Owing to a large Hock of sheep on the near by hills, the hounds were lifted and taken back across Mr. Anderson's property to Mr. G. Speakrnan's and Mr. A. Henwood's, where another hare was raised. This took the field at a fast' pace over the wclltrimmed hedges of Messrs. Catternack, D. Reynolds and C. Yule, and then across the road into barred country, j where the hounds had to be whipped | oil'. The day was line and bright with a cold south-west wind, which was not ; conducive to good scenting.
