SEAMAN REMANDED
Chnrged with absenting himself from the British steamer Anglo-Canadian at Auckland on May 25 and with refusing to obey the lawful commands of the master of the vessel, a seaman, Thomas Joseph Lynch, appeared before Messrs. W. J. Jaffrey and W. J. Fvans, J.P.'s, in the Police Court on Saturday. Ho was remanded until this morning.
