He will be spoiled for a few weeks. H. I,origan brought back from Awapuiii the three-year-old filly Tidal Gilt, who hitherto has been trained by C. Thomson. Mr. W. J. Wood, owner and trainer of Arctic King, has left on- a trip to England. During his absence Arctic King will bo trained by V. Weston. Galteemore returned to Trentliam from tho Manawatu meeting, but he will go back to race in the Foxton Cup, which will bo his last raco of the season. Dungarvan and Matoru, who will also go to the Foxton meeting, ran five furlongs this morning in 1.3, the last half-mil© in 50s.
