PLUNKET SOCIETY WORK BIRKENHEAD BRANCH The report of the nurse, Miss A. F. "White, presented at a meeting of the Birkenhead branch of the Plunket Society, stated that , during April 255 visits had been paid to the Birkenhead Plunket rooms. These included 118 adults; 109 babies and 28 older children. In addition 38 visits had been paid to homes, including seven new cases.
Voluntary transport was provided by Mrs.' R. M. Saddington, Mrs. F. Frith, Mrs. C. -E. Chambers and Mrs. B. L. Brown. The president, Mrs. C. Eric Chambers, presided. Members o"f tho committee present were: —Mrs. C. E. Chambers, Mrs. B. L. Brown. Mrs. C. W. Inwards, Mrs. R. M. Saddington, Mrs. E. J. Osborne, Mrs. C. E. Dowsing, Mrs. G. TV. Spraggon, Mrs.-A. D. Service, Mrs. J. ."Wilson, Mrs. R. V. O'Callahan.
