CLUB COMPETITIONS FINE SCORES RETURNED " best card by davidge FOUR UP FROM SCRATCH Competitions were played by the vari--~o'is ' oca ' °» Saturday. As courses were in splendid order and tho weather ideal, there were a number of fine scores returned. \V. J. Davidge was responsible for the best round of the day, .when in a bogey match at Titirangi he returned a card of 4 up from scratch. Details of his score of 70 are: — Out* 44434434 3 —33. The first round of the captain s prize was played at Middlemore, six matches going to tho 19th. . Excellent scores were returned by Al. Pattinson and A. V. Hardie in a medal competition at Maungakiekie, their net . scores being 66 and 65 respectively. The Kond monthly medal was played m conjunction with the Mmgny Cup at pupuke; the medal.was won by P. The third round of the captain's prize was decided at Remuera and the second round for the secretary's trophy was also slaved. With a card of o up 11. Sinclair and' E. Doherty won a four-ball bogey at Waitemata. In this event seniors irere partnered by juniors.
