CHINESE MAGICIAN
SEASON AT HIS MAJESTY'S The noted Chinese magician Chang will again present his company at His Majesty's Theatre to-day, with _ a special children's matinee at special prices this afternoon. The matinee performances will be continued each day until the season closes. Appearing with the company for the first time after successful seasons at London ftnd Continental variety theatres, two acrobatic balancers, Watton and Murray, took the house by storm in a sensational specialty act of a novel character on Saturday night. The main features of the' turn were dexterous juggling feats performed by one of the partners while precariously balanced on a board, the centre of which was laid across a large roller placed on a table, the board becoming in fact a continually moving see-saw. Amazing feats without losing his balance were the performer's preludes to the highlight of his act. This consisted of balancing his partner as tho latter climbed up to his shoulders and there stood erect for several moments before climbing down again to the table. Prolonged applause rewarded tho performers. Booking arrangements are advertised.
