WEEK-END WEATHER ' Auckland.—Saturday was fine, with a light southerly breeze. The raorriine yesterday was sunny, but clouds deref oped during the afternoon and there were several light showers. The maxi mum temperature yesterday was 62 degrees and the minimum 58. The barometer fell steadily throughout Saturday and for the greater part of the dav yesterday, but showed an upward tren'd in the evening. - ,

Sunday morning was sunny and almost cloiiVu less, but the skv became overcast'in the afternoon, when there was a light drizzle. The maximum temperature on Saturday was 58.2 degrees, and on Sunday 62.9 degrees. At 3.30 p.m. on Sunday the barometer reading was 29.74 in (1007 millibars).
Christchureli.—Siturday was cold and overcast with steady 'rain. On Sunday the sky cleared, and there was warm sunshine during; the afternoon. The barometer at 6 p.m. on Sunday read 29.8Qin. (1009 millibars), and was rising slightly. There was a light south-west wind.
Dunedin.—Saturday was fine .with a light south-westerly breeze, which kept temperatures low. The barometer showed a falling tendency. The sun shone on Sunday morning, and at'noon the thermometer stood at 59 degrees! The sky became cloudy in the. afternoon. and the barometer at 3 p.m. read 29.80 in.
