PORT OF AUCKLAND N ACHILLES THIS MORNING AWATEA LEAVING FOR SYDNEY Taking about 300 passengers, the Union Company's liner Awatea is scheduled to sail at five o'clock this afternoon for Sydney. She is at the western side of Prince's Wharf. Returning after her refit in England, H.M.S. Achilles is due at the naval base at 10 o'clock this morning. The cruiser left Portsmouth on February 21, and proceeded to Auckland via Gibraltar, Suez, Colombo and Singapore. H.M.S. Leander returned to Auckland from Sydney on Saturday morning after participating in naval exercises with the Royal Australian Navy. The Port Line motor-ship Port Alma arrived yesterday morning after an uneventful voyage from Loudon, via Panama.
