THE WAY TO IRON SMOCKING
jVrOST mothers will agree that though • smocking- is such an attractive finish to children's clothes, it is difficult to keep it looking smart and new after washing it. The secret lies in the method of ironing, and if you follow the one given here, you will be able to keep your children's smocks looking new and smart much longer. Instead of ironing in the usual way, heat an iron and stand it upright. Pass the smocking to and fro across the face of the iron until the smocking is dry.
