Mr. John C'reasov's Department Z stories nre familiar to readers of mystery fiction, and when they deal with international intrigues they are always exciting. In " Murder Must Wait," a powerful organisation which plots at embroiling the nations in war has to bo unmasked, and Loftus and his men, thanks to Mr. Creasey, eventually succeed, but not until they have undergone a battle of wits and strategy. The author is always Cleveland convincing with his clues.
