BOY'S STRANGE KINK
"SECRET POLICE SPEAKING" For annoying a business man and his wife by sending alarming telephone calls in which he stated that he was a member of the German secret police, a 15-year-old boy was put on probation for two years at Glasgow juvenile court. It was stated that the boy telephoned the man at his office from various callboxes, saying that he was speaking from 'the central police station and desired Certain information. The same day he also telephoned the man's wife, telling her that he was a member of the Gestapo. When lie called at the house he was arrested by police, who had concealed themselves. Defending solicitor said that the boy had been attending the cheaper cinemas and reading detective stories of a flamboyant nature.
