TAURANGA CLUB'S SEASON [by telegraph —OWN correspondent] TAURANGA. Friday The report presented to the annual meeting of the Tauranca Badminton Club disclosed that the past season was very successful. The club had affiliated with the Waikato Association, and would enter a team this season in the Waikato B grade championships, which are being played in two zones. Tho balance-sheet revealed a satisfactory credit. ~ „ . Officers were elected as follows: —President. Mr. T. Connoi; secretary and treasurer. Mr. L. E. Ganunon; committee. Misses P. Anderson. R. Sharon. P. Dixon. Messrs. S. Anderson. G. Fooler. J. McKenzie; club captain. Mr. L. E. Gammon. OFFICERS AT WHANGAREI Prospects for a highly successful season were revealed at the annual meeting of the Whangarei Badminton Club, held last night. The following officers were elected sident, Mr. F. Sullivan; club-captain, Mr. L. T Pickmere; honorary secretary and treasurer Mr. L. W. Keys; committee, Misses B Walker, L. Ventry-Smith and L. Hemus. Captain H. G. Wooller and Messrs. R. Gray and N. Wright.
