WELLINGTON CITY CORPORATION ISSUE OF DEBENTURES, £IOO EACH The Wellington City Corporation invites applications for Debenture* of £IOO each in the Wellington City Drainage and Sewerage Loan 1928, Renewal Loan 1939 of £68,000. TERM: Ten (10) years from the first day of November, 1939. INTEREST: 3per annum. A Sinking Fund of 2\% has been established in connection with the issue. The Debentures are first-class short-dated gilt-edged investments and are authorised trustee securities. Wellington City Corporation Debentures are/readily negotiable. Forms of, application can be obtained at the City Treasurers Department, Town Hall, Wellington. Payment of purchase moneys is not required before the first day of November, 1939. The issue is secured by a special rate of 49/800 d in the £ on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property within the whole of the City of Wellington.
