As a special attraction for tho King's Birth Jay, Juno 5, it was resolved to play a match against two of tho leading teams in the club competition. As Marist, last year's champion, and Richmond would not have met by then, it was decided lo make arrangements for this as a competition match. Mr. D. Wilkio, chairman of tho junior control board, reported that junior clubs were fully in accord with the schcmo for benefits from tho injured players' fund. He said that an amount of .€5 is to bo levied against tho clubs and that tho Senior Officers' Association would bo responsible for all cases deserving: special consideration. Mr. F. T. McAnency, chairman of tho Officers' Association, said that no claims for X-ray examinations and special medical treatment would bo recognised, but insurance against absenco from employment would receivo every consideration. It was reported that improvements to tho entrance of Carlaw Park gates, costing £2OO, would bo completed by next Saturday. Attention was also to bo given to tho eastern en-i of the grandstand, to provent rain beating in. A letter from the Mount Albert Club, dealins with tho standard of referceing in a senior gamo at Carlaw Park last Saturday, was referred to tho reforccs' appointment board. It was pointed out that the contents did not concern tho management committee. Tho appeal of D. Fraser against tho refusal of tho Newton Club of his transfer to North Shore was dismissed.
