UNPLEASANT CONDITIONS MANUKAU CLUB'S RACES In cold, showery, weather the Manukau Amateur Cycling: Club continued its road racing season on Saturday. Twenty rideis contested the three continental races held. Each race was over six laps, 15 miles, and points were awarded to the First three riders to cross the line at the end of each lap. The Empire Games representative J. Brown surprisingly failed to show out in the sprints, V D Thomas being the outstanding competitor. Mills, junior rider made some willing sprints with Stonex in the B grade, while Flinkenberg wore down his rivals in the C grade, the fastest race ot the day. ■Results:— ' . i A Grade.—V. D.
