DEBUTANTE CHAIRMAN
A debutante of 1938, Miss Elisabeth MonercifFe, daughter of Lady MOll- - has chosen political work as a part-timo career. She acts as chairman once a week at Conservative Association meetings in Deptford, introducing other speakers and sometimes making a short speech herself. She is 19 years old. Elocution and public speaking classes at the Conservative Party headquarters in Westminster attended by ex-debutantes and young married women are sponsored by the Hon. »Esme Glyn, sister of Lord Wolrerton.
