Wednesday. FRANKLIN ASSOCIATION [from our own correspondent] PUKEKOHE, Wednesday The Franklin Golf Association has elected the following officers for the new season:— President, Mr. M. Ecclcs; secretary. Mr. 11., T Moore; auditor, Mr. M. S. Campbell; selectors, Messrs. Moore, M. R. Grierson. The association's championship tournament will bo held on the Waikare course on September 23, the competitors to be limited to the 50 entrants with the lowest handicaps. It was decided that the teams to compete for the Franklin teams' Challenge Cup should bo increased to eight players each. Tho first match in the eliminating rounds will be between Waiuku and Oncwhero, at Waiuku, 011 May 28. Tlio association's representatives will play the. Hamilton Golf Club at Hamilton on July 23 and at Pukekohe on October 15.
