VISITING PLAYERS FOURTH MATCH ARRANGED GAME AGAINST THE MAORIS An announcement that a fourth match would be played at Carlaw Park by the Eastern Suburbs Rugby League team from Sydney was made at last evening's meeting of the Control Board of Auckland Rugby League. The chairman, Mr. G. Grey Campbell, said that owing to, the Monterey being delayed in America, arrangements for the visitors to return to Australia were postponed for two. days. It was now possible to play a 1 game on Saturday week. Jlr. Campbell suggested that as Manukau would be strengthened by the inclusion of G. Nepia, J.-Hemi and R. Chase, the match would be a splendid attraction.

Mr. R. Stehr, the visitors' manager and captain, agreed to tho proposal. He said that his team would be pleased to play Manukau. It was decided that Manukau should play the visitors on Saturday week, Richmond on Easter Monday, and Mount Albert next Wednesday Mr. Stehr thanked mcmbors of the board for the arrangements made for Saturday. lie said that it would be his team's ambition to give the public the best class of open football.

A request of the visitors to hold a conference with Mr. G. Kelly, tho referee for Saturday's game, was agreed to. The New Zealand Rugby League advised that .the following representative matches would be played in connection with the selection of the 'New Zealand team: —Taranaki v. Northland, at Auckland, June 24; Wellington v. South Auckland, at Wellington, July I; North Island v. South Island, at Auckland, July 8; A and B trial, at Auckland. July 11. The Auckland City Council advised that it did not intend to' increase the charges for playing football on parks and reserves under its control.

•A sub-committco reported that arrangements had been finalised for a seven-a-sido tournament. The winning team in the first game on each ground will play the winners of the second game, and the final will bo decided between the winners of these series. ■lt was decided to send a letter expressing the wish for tho speedy recovery of Mr. H.
