HALF-YEARLY MEETING PAN-PACIFIC CONFERENCE Arrangements in connection with the Pan-Pacific Women's Conference to be held in Wellington early next year were discussed at the half-yearly meeting of the Lyceum Club last night. The president', Mrs. W. H. Pa rices, presided. Letters were also read inviting delegates to the conference to take part in some of the centennial celebrations and club members were asked to offer motor-cars for the use of delegates while they were in Auckland. Plans for the entertainment of the Pan-Pacific visitors were proposed by the vice-president, Mrs. Kenneth Gordon, and conveners lor transport, hospitality and finance committees were proposed. It was also suggested that they should have the free use of the club while in the city. Reports in connection with the various circles were presented by the convenors.
