THREAT TO WORLD PEACE
Sir, —One wonders after reading the latest news regarding the doings of Germany what our Prime Minister in England thinks and what he proposes doing. The recent actions of Hitler and those with him can only be described as. to put it very mildly, overbearing. Surely it is now time the peoples of the British Commonwealth, France and America arranged to act together and end this huge bluff. Hitler has "recently said and has repeated that he does not want war; that may be quite true, but he is gaining his aims, nevertheless, without war, and that is where the bluff comes in. The unfortunate countries in Central Europe do not want this German domination and are to-day crying aloud to us to save them, and, unless we wish to save ourselves from a similar fate later, we should now wake up and face the situation.
To my mind, and I am sure your readers will agreo, the three Powers above mentioned should each send an ultimatum to Germany demanding that she withdraw her troops within the boundaries described in the Munich Agreement within 24 hours and, failing her compliance.'to declare war immediately on her. Nothing less nppears to be of any avail. England has already suffered enough rebuffs and it is time to end this nonsense of Hitler. Bhitishrr
