HARPER—LOWE The Catholic Church, Ngongotaha, which had been attractively decorated by frieuds of the bride with white and pink flowers, was the scene of a very pretty wedding on Saturday morning, February 18. when .Miss Kathleen Eunice Lowe., elder daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gu ide Lowe, Ngongotaha, was married :o Mr. Sydney Phillips Harper, elder son of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Harper, Mokai. The .Rev. Father Wanders officiated at the ceremony, and Miiis Lilley was the organist. The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a lovely gown of ivory satin, embosisijj in silver leaves. it was simply fashioned, with a slightlvtraiued skirt, full bodice and long sleeves, which formed a. double point over each hand. Her ivory tulle veil, which was worn over the face, was held in place i>y a topknot of orange blossom and arum lilies. The bride carried a stau.ver bouquet of cream carnations and gladioli. The bridesmaids, Miss Renee Lowe, Miss Eileen Ort.ig and Miss Ruth Johnson wore frocks of peach net over peach and silver spotted suede darguena, with diagonally-tucked boleros. Tliey wore circular veils, with coronets cf gladioli and carried bouquets of pink carnations and gladioli. Mr. Wiliani Harper was best man and 31 r. M.
