FRANKTON QUOTATIONS DEMAND FOR FAT LAMBS BONER COWS SLOW OF SALE [from our own cohrespondent] HAMILTON, Tuesday There was a full yarding of fat sheep at the weekly stock sale at Frankton to-day. A keen demand prevailed for fat lambs and these sold fully up to recent quotations. A full offering of boner cows was slightly easier of sale, but vendors in most cases met the market and a good clearance was eii'eetcsd. The auctioneers' report: —

RETURNS FROM WOOL SECOND OTAGO SALE CHEQUE TOTALS £355,040 ' [from OUII OWN COItRKSPONDKXT] DUXEDJN, Tuesday The return to growers from the second Otngo wool sale on February 8 was £355,040, which, with £306.534 from the opening sale in December, brings the provincial wool cheque to date up to £661,574. This is slightly less than half the total receipts from the four sales last year.
