Adams and Mrs. Adams, of the Salvation Army, are visiting Hamilton. The Hon. Rangi Mawhete, M.L.C., left for Wellington by the limited express last night. Mr. E. L. Cullen, M.P. for Hawke's Bay, left for the south by the limited express last night. Mr. C. A. Deuxberry returned by air yesterday from Greymouth. after a visit to Jackson's Bay, South Westland. The Rt. Rev. H. St. B. Holland, Anglican Bishop of Wellington, is to enter a private hospital to und.ergo an operation. Group-Captain the Hon. R. A. Cochrane, Chief of Air Stall, is visiting Auckland. He wiH pro'bably return south by air at the week-end. Sir Lionel Fletcher, of London, a director of Dalgety apd Company, Limited, arrived in Auckland from the south by the limited express yesterday. Mr. G. L. Laurenson, Commissioner of Transport, returned to Wellington by the afternoon express yesterday after a short visit to Auckland on departmental business. Mr. M. Cable, general manager of the Wellington tramway system, returned to Wellington last night by the limited express. He attended the engineers' conference at Auckland this week. Mr. G. W. Hutchison, district governor of Rotarv for New Zealand, accompanied by Mrs. and Miss Hutchison will leave by motor-car for Napier today to attend the Rotary Conference. The Rev. C. T. Symons, who has been appointed senior youth director of the Methodist Church of New Zealand, will be stationed at Wellington. Mr. A. E. Bate and the Rev. M. A. McDowell, directors for the Northern District and the South Island respectively, will have their headquarters at Auckland and Christchurch.
