Clouds O'er the Blue
I love to lie In the long, green grass And Watch the clouds In the sky, as they pass. I love to watch The seagulls fly Far o'er my head In the clear, blue sky. And to see with pleasure The sun shine down From out of the sky Where the witch-clouds frown
And to watch the procession Of clouds pass along With their shining white faces And trailers so long. They all of them have A different shape And they seem to envelop The sky in a cape-. So when I have nothing Important to do, I play with mu cloud-friends Till they fade from my view. —Original by Fay Price, M.8.G., (12)
