FAREWELL AT OKOROIRE
A very pleasant farewell evening was spent bv the many friends of Mr. and Mrs. Nelson Thomas, at their homo this week, on the eve of their departure for Tauranga. A presentation of a fountain pen was made to Mr. Thomas by Mr. Horscroft on behalf of his staff. During the evenin"' speeches were made by Mr. Bear. Mr. Horscroft, Mr. M. Harrison and Mr Morse. Accordeon music was supplied by Mr. H. F. Morse, and items were given by Mr. H. Wine, Mr. J. Batley, Mr. J. Sleeman and Mr. Bear.
