UNWANTED ANIMALS

Si r> —As one who spends a good deal of time and money caring for and getting rid of other peoples discarded animals, 1 have read with interest the letters on this subject published in your columns. 1 wish it were • ossible to fiye offenders heavily. It is not a question of poverty, tor 1 have been told of cats having been dropped from cars. Owners of cars could quite well pay a small fee for painless destruction.
