CENTENNIAL SCHEMES
DISCUSSION AT WAIHI | UY TELEGRAPH —OWN CORRESPONDENT | WAIHI. Friday The sub-committee appointed by the Centennial celebrations district committee to report on suggested memorials for Waihi met last evening, the Mayor, Mr. W. M. Wallnutt, presiding*. The proposed memorials discussed consisted principally of beautification schemes, children's playing areas and acquisition of a domain at Waihi Beach.
