ELECTION OF OFFICERS [by telegraph—OWN correspondent] OPOTIKI, Sunday There was a fair attendance at the annual meeting of the Opotiki Choral Society. The annual report stated that two concerts had been held during the year, resulting in small profits. The election of officers resulted as follows: —Patron, Mr. P. S. Moody; president, Mr. H. S. Holmes; vicepresidents, Messrs. J. D. Clark, L. P. Puff, A. Sinton, A. Howland, J. P. Dicker, G. A. Dawson, H. G. Reeves, F. A. Bridger; secretary, Mr. Thomson; assistant-secretary, Mr. Button; treasurer, Mrs. L. P. Puff- librarian, M iss T. K. Galium; committee, Mrs.' Clark, Miss McLean, Mrs. Holmes, Miss Thompson, Mrs. Jackson, Mrs. Fleming, Mr. Seville, Mr. Jackson, Mrs. Picker; conductor, Mr. Puryer; auditor, Mr. Reeves.
