WAIHI BY-ELECTION
BOROUGH COUNCIL SEAT [by telegraph—OWN correspondent] WAIHI, Sunday At a by-election to fill a vacancy on the Waihi Borough Council, Mr. J. G. Comes was returned, defeating four other candidates. Mr. Cornes was a member of the council for three consecutive terms ending in 1919.
