Refugee Motorists
Enforcement of the decree making every driver in Palestine take out a special passport has led to a strange situation there. The Arab rebels have threatened death to every Arab driver who obeys the order, with the result that almost the only motorists seen the roads nowadays are Britons and Jews. Arab business men accustomed to using their cars for business purposes in Palestine have been put m a particularly serious plight.
