Train Murder
" Problem by Rail," is the story of a train murder, the victim of which in found wearing the clothes of another passenger on the train. Mr. E. Charles Vtoian calls upon his popular character, Inspector Head, to solve the problem, which proves much more difficult than appears at first sight. UNUSUAL CHARACTERS
Alan Muir's story, "Death Comes on Derby Day," is not a racing mystery yarn. It deals with the death of a man who is heavily insured, and it is Clive, the representative of an insurance company, who disentangles the skein of the mystery of his death. The clues arc all gathered together by a remarkable letter from the doctor who is involved, but lie, the Chief Constable, Mrs. Gummidgc, and the young lady at the surgery, nre_ all unusual characters in a story which is recommended by the Crime Book Society.
