TAURANGA TOURNAMENT WIN FOR DEARE'S RINK LBY TELEGRAPH —OWN CORRESPONDENT] TAURANGA, Friday The final game in the ; Tauranga Bowling Club's tournament between Carlton (Whitaker. Rodgcrs. Clarke, Deare) and Te Aroha (Biss, Bailey, Maingay. Rosenfeldt). was played this morning in good weather, and was won by the former by 23 points to 21. The green was in excellent condition. The gamo was characterised by good, steady ulay on both sides, although Rosenfeldt scoured a five and a four, while Deare scored two fours. LICENSED VICTUALLERS TOURNEY AT GREY LYNN The annual licensed victuallers bowling tournament for the Ivl. J. Friday A party of 115 South Auckland residents, including 80 members of South Auckland bowling clubs, will leave on February 2fi for a week's tour of Taranaki. All the principal centres in Taranaki will be visited and games will be played at each centre. The programme includes sifrht-sceins tours.
