NEW AGENT-GENERAL
WESTERN AUSTRALIA MR. M. F. TROY'S POST [from our own correspondent] PERTH, Feb. O The Minister of Lands and Immigration, Mr, M, F. Troy, has been appointed Agent-General in London in succession to Sir Hal Colebatch, and will leave with his wife for London shortly. The term of tho appointment is three years. Mr. Troy will probably take office in March, by which time Sir Hal will have served six years.
Mr. Troy has been continuously member for Mount Magnet in the Western Australian Legislative Assembly for .35 years. He was a Minister for 12 years and Speaker for six years. Ho wne opposed only on three occasions and unopposed 10 tirnoß at Legislative Assembly elections. Mr. Troy has been at different times Minister in charge of several of the departments, particularly those dealing with laud, mines and agriculture, and ho has had long experience as a farmcv.
