DANCING

A welcome to the visiting surf lifesaving teams will be given at the oldtime dance carnival to be held at the Pirate Shippe Cabaret, Milford, tonight. Two spacious floors will be available for dancing and music will be supplied by the Pirate Shippe orchestra of sis; instruments. Special transport arrangements have been made for patrons. Modern syncopated dance music will be played by Johnny Madden and his "Swing Kings!' at the Peter Pan Cabaret to-night. The popular "Lambeth Walk" willl be a feature of the programme, w'hich will include foxtrots and jazz waltzes. Mr. Madden, accompanied by the orchestra, will be heard in a number of popular songs, v. Modern and old-time dancing may be OTjoyed under ideal conditions at the Chez. Paree Cabaret, Buekland's Beach, to-night, when a carnival will be held. The Chez Paree band will be in attendance. A mid-week danco is held every Tuesday.
