EXPERTS ARRIVE NEXT MONTH TBT TELEGB.APH I'HF.SS ASSOCIATION*] WELLINGTON, Thursday Two expeirts from London are to arrive in New Zealand' early next month to report' to the Government on the project for developing the iron oro deposits at Onekaka in the light of additional evidence gathered by the authorities., An announcement to this effect was made by the Minister of Industries and Commerce, the Hon. D. G. Sullivan, to-night. Mr. Sullivan referred to an announcement he made in November indicating that at that time he expected the survey of the iron ore deposits at Onekaka would, by the end of January have reached a stage where the Government would bo in a position to consider inviting its consultant engineers, H. A. Brassert and Company, Limited, London, to give a further preliminary report on the project. The work of testing and analysing the oro deposits had been pressed forward since that time.

The Government had invited Brassort and Company to send to New Zealand a miiiiing export, together with a, coal and metal expert, to consider the further evidence gathered by tho Iron and Steel Department and prepare a report. Accordingly, these two experts would arrive in New Zealand early next inoiith and spend a few weeks on tho ore and coal bodies before framing a report and Recommendations
