CONCERT AT GAOL
VARIED PROGRAMME GIVEN An enjoyable concert, arranged by Mrs. F. C. Webster, was presented at tlfe Auckland gaol last night, the programme including musical, elocutionary and humorous items. Songs were contributed by Mrs. A. H. Osborne. Mrs. Raudon, Mrs. T. McKni<xht and Mr. X. Laud; vocal duets by Mrs. Osborne and Mrs. McKnight; dancing by Miss Rita Nay lor; a sketch by Miss Nancy Warren and Mr. L. Ryan; demonstration dances of the Lambeth Walk and Blackpool Walk by Miss 10. Seecombe, Miss M. Chanev, Mr. 10. Priestley and r. N. Burton; violin solos by Mr. Neville Walker; a recital bv Mr Herbert Crandall; humour by M iss N. Warren; and items, by the Fun Doctor (Mr. Norman Tait). The accompanist was Mrs. A. Farrellv.
