PHEASANTS LIBERATED
THE OTOROHANGA DISTRICT The Auckland Acclimatisation Society's ranger, Mr. A. Dobson, visited Otorohanga during last week-end, and, in company with Mr. Murray the local representative, liberated ,30 voung pheasants in various parts of the district. A further 31 birds are due to arrive shortly, arid thus a total of 52 hens and 18 cocks will augment the birds already in the district.
