CRUSHED TO DEATH

BARONET-FARMER NEW SOUTH WALES FATALITY [from our own correspondent] SYDNEY. Feb. 10 The accidental death occurred yesterday of Sir Hussey Burgh FairlieCuninghame, 14th Baronet of Robertland, Ayrshire, who for eight years has been a farmer in the Manilla district. He was crushed when the tractor he was working overturned on the bank of a gully on his property at Keepit. Manilla. When ho was found by a man named Wheeler a few minutes after the accident he was still alive, but died shortly afterward. Sir Hussey Kairlie-Cuninghame in 1919 succeeded his father, the late Sir William Fairlie-Cuninghame, of Young. He had been a resident of the Manilla district for eight years, and leaves a wife, formerly Miss Alice Stewart, of Adelaide, and three daughters. Sir William Alan Fairlie-Cuning-hame, who on his brother's tragic death has succeeded to the title as 15th baronet, is in charge of the preparatory section of St. John's psychology school, Vaucluse. The baronetcy is one of the oldest in existence, and the family lineage begins with William second son of the first Earl oi Glencairn, who was ennobled early in the lofh century. The grandfather of the present baronet came to Australia in 1843.
