DEFENCE LEAGUE
iTE AROHA BRANCH FORMED [by TELEGRAPH —OWN CORRESPONDENT] TE AROHA, Thursday A decision to form a branch of the Zealand Defence League was reached at a well-attended meeting convened by the Mayor,' Mr. B. Coulter. A .large number of returned soldiers attended.
The meeting was addressed by Mr. G. «• Nicholls, who suggested the institu-son-:of s ix months' territorial service, fialf of which could be devoted to military training and the oth.er half to services. '
