PURCHASES IN AMERICA 600 MACHINES FOR FRANCE COST OF 60,000,000 DOLLARS (Received February 15, 11.30 p.m.) WASHINGTON, Feb. 15 The French Embassy announced that the French air mission has purchased over 500 new military aeroplanes from the United States, besides 100 ordered last year.

The French Air Ministry has ordered an additional 115 light bombers from the United States.
